My husband and I bought a 1080p HDTV Vizio earlier. My question is: why not show everything in 720p? We have our cable connected to an HDMI cable. . . but the regular channels and two HD channels are 720p. . . not 1080p. Our Xbox is connected only with the standard HD cables, because we bought our first one they did with the HDMI output of the 360 seats. . . . But it shows in 720p, and sometimes even lower then that. . . Does anyone know of any way we can get the TV in quality? And TV. . . cable operators. . . strings? Is the 720p is much better then normal TV? Our model number for TV if you want to know is VW47L FHDTV 10A. . . This is a 47-inch TV. . . . simply does not look as good in our house, as it does in the store. . . even our non-HD programming is good as it did in the store. I tried with an HDMI cable between my TV and DVD player. I have picture but no sound. If I use the cable 5 HDMI cables and NO pictures and sound on my TV. I checked the audio settings. . PSM or DD. .
